3M Fall Protection
The Single Point Anchor is a fixed-point anchorage connector for a personal fall protection system designed to be attached to a supporting structure.
The Single Point Anchor may be used for fall arrest, work positioning, or fall restraint purposes.
Model 7234109 may also be used for rescue purposes
Anchorage Structure: The structure to which the Anchorage Connector is mounted must be capable of sustaining force in the anticipated direction(s) of loading. Each Anchorage Point location must be capable of sustaining the following values for Fall Arrest applications:
- EN 795 12 kN (2,700 lb)
- ANSI/OSHA 22.2 kN (5,000 lb)
Each Single Point Anchor model is tested in accordance with some variation of the standards listed below
