The neat internal layout means the equipment can be quickly accessed by the fire teams in an emergency. The JB17.600FEs are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
This strong composite cabinet design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door apertures. The hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The interlocking doors are secured with 316 stainless steel 3 way locking fitted with a single handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves. It can be extensively customised to fit additional equipment as well as modifications for hot or cold climates. This includes insulation and heaters for temperatures as low as -40C.
