The cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. The single flush fit handle helps to keep the cabinet profile smooth and avoid it catching on clothing. The cabinet design offers a very effective combination of corrosion resistance, rigidity but also relatively light weight (compared to a steel cabinet).
The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a nylon rod handle to pull the door open to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
These cabinets can be manufactured using fire retardant resins as a popular optional extra.
