PLANA lightweight spine board board is designed to fit inside or on top of a casualty stretcher. Made from high-quality materials (HDPE), it offers a perfect balance between strength and maneuverability. This allows emergency responders and medical professionals to integrate the use of flexible and rigid rescue stretchers, to efficiently handle and transport patients when at height or in confined spaces, minimising the risk of further injury.
The PLANA spine board features an ergonomic and contoured design, ensuring optimum comfort for patients while minimising the risk of further injury. Its smooth surface enhances patient sliding, facilitating seamless transfers with minimal effort.
The strategically placed, moulded handgrips, provide emergency responders with multiple points of grip for secure and controlled lifting and transport. This allows for efficient and safe handling of patients during emergencies and reduces the risk of further spinal damage.
To cater to the specific needs of each patient, our Spine Board is compatible with a range of accessories. Multiple slots are integrated into the board, allowing for the attachment and compatibility with various types of head immobilisers. This ensures that the patient’s head and neck region are stabilised and protected during transportation.
It is both water-resistant and buoyant, making it excellent for use in water rescues.
The inner slots of our Spine Board are specifically designed to allow for rapid immobilisation of small adults. These slots are strategically placed to securely hold the patient in place, preventing any unnecessary movement that could cause further harm to the spine.
